‘Yeah we are going to create reasonable doubt around this. You shouldn’t get to claim things like this anonymously. I see you going around saying this isn’t malicious but… ‘If you don’t have something nice to say?” Fill in the blank. I have spoken against businesses but I use my name & Evidence where possible. That should be the standard.

Using the blog to frame the content:

What I am discussing to expand on it? Is the concept of fair use related to negative reviews. By any user leaving negative reviews anonymously? There is the potential for damages. Also there is no potential for blowback to the user. This puts the user in the best of both worlds so to speak. However through the art of Internet Conversation there is a way to reverse this to protect the brand in question.

‘You make this malicious claim about a restaurant how do we know you aren’t a slob?” We can’t know cause the user is anonymous in this post. This is how we create reasonable doubt around their claim. Belleville Ontario customers are the Kings of Claims without receipt scams.

‘To Anonymous participant That has nothing to do with anything. You got food poisoning cause you need to wash your hands.” I say this because again the user provides no proof of identity. You can make it seem like the user might be dirty. Rather than liability falling on the Business.

My Final comment

Ultimately this was strategic aggitation. I got the Customer to reveal they were some kind of partisan nutjob who can’t simply talk and debate people like a regular person. The customer has went from ‘I have a credible claim of food poisoning!” To I am a Queerphobic jerk and I even bug the page admin. That was the point of my post.

To tie this into Pride Flags of False Progress. See how automatically me being queer is tied to me somehow being Liberal? I mean yes I am Liberal Federally right now. However I am not the one that started the conversation. The point at the end of the day. Is that reducing someone’s queer identity to their Politics is a form of Prejudice. It is a form of prejudice I frequently face. Operating in spaces out of Belleville Ontario . I was merely attacked for defending one of our town’s lovely chain restaurants from a probable slob. Multiple comments on this page said what I said. That it was very unlikely the restaurant made this person sick. Belleville Ontario is a low income area. The idea this person might be a slob is not at all far fetched. It is kind of like jumping to the most possible conclusion.
